Shangri-la

Shangri-la

The snow-capped mountains and the deep-carved canyons, the vast, green grasslands and the big, blue sky, the majestic temples and flocks of sheep, all this comes together to constitute a place of legends, a paradise closest to heaven-Shangri-La. However, the education level of schools here are still underdeveloped, teachers are extremely scarce, and there are very limited resources for students to pursue extracurriculars. For the Tibetan children here, the underdevelopment of basic education has formed a barrier higher even than that of the snow-capped mountains, limiting them from chasing their dreams.
